Compatibility

The included Tedee Faceplate Adapter replaces the existing interior thumbturn and creates a secure mechanical connection between the Tedee Smart Lock and the lock mechanism. This allows Tedee to operate the lock bolts while preserving the existing lock system and exterior appearance of the door.

Tedee PRO Smart Lock:

A premium smart lock featuring an anodized aluminum body, ultra-quiet operation, and a powerful motor delivering over 17.7 in-lb of torque (2.0 Nm). It installs on the inside of your existing door, allowing you to automate your lock without changing the exterior appearance.

Faceplate adapter:

The Tedee Faceplate Adapter enables the installation of Tedee Smart Locks on North American multipoint locking systems.

The adapter replaces the existing interior thumbturn by threading directly into the handle plate from the inside of the door. Once installed, the lock’s flat tailpiece slides into the dedicated slot within the adapter, creating a secure mechanical connection between Tedee and the lock mechanism.

This allows Tedee to operate the lock bolts smoothly and reliably while preserving the existing lock system and exterior appearance of the door.

Tedee Bridge:

The Tedee Bridge connects your smart lock to the Internet, unlocking the full capabilities of the Tedee ecosystem.
